Kilmovee 10k has developed a great reputation in athletic circles with participants coming from all over the country and worldwide.
This year the race will be run on Saturday 20th April (Holy Saturday) @ 1pm, with this being the 10th running of the event. An ideal opportunity for you to come and celebrate and show your appreciation to the hundreds of volunteers that make the day happen.
Another great reason is, this year there will be a 5k race run at the same time… Yes, two races!
Starting at the back of the main race start, the 5k will then head off at the same time in the opposite direction, up the slight incline, turning left – heading along the road with the graveyard on your right, heading towards the Astroturf and Community Centre, straight over the crossroads at Community Centre and along road – joining the 10k route at the Urlaur turn, taking a left approx 0.5k, following the road for approx 1k, turning left at end of the road, just in time for the ‘slopes’ finishing at the main finish line with your time recorded… Yes, this race will also be chipped**.
This is a great opportunity for those who want to be part of the biggest one-day event in the parish but felt that 10k was just a step too far…
Registration is Live on Kilmovee Box Office and is €20 per entry to celebrate this new feature they are offering €5 off the 5k only for today only (20th January) apply this coupon code 2019 – kilmovee 5k to get your discount.
