Firstly, on behalf of all involved with Kilmovee 10K I’d like to take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and happy New Year, we all sincerely look forward to seeing you in March.

Here a just a few of our improvements we’ve made to ensure that your data remains as safe as possible. In order to ensure that we can donate as much money as we can we use Stripe as our payment processor hugely reducing our 3rd party fee’s.

As we ( are now the primary source of bookings for our 10k, we take your security very seriously. We have upgraded our hosting providers who now offer PCI compliance, even though we do not store your card information on our database.

PCI is an abbreviation for Payment Card Industry. The  PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) is a security initiative created to offer service providers and merchants a unified approach towards safeguarding credit card holder information for all types of credit cards, preventing credit card fraud, cracking and various other security threats and vulnerabilities.

Anyone involved with the processing, transmission, or storage of credit card data must comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). Stripe makes it easy to do so:

  • Serve your payment page over SSL, i.e., the page’s web address should begin withhttps, not http.
  • Use Stripe scripts to accept payment information and transmit it directly to Stripe’s servers.

We are using Stripe once again as our payment & card processor. is now hosted in Europe too.
