The Kilmovee 10k is a community-led charity event that raises much-needed funds for the Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation, a local charity that provides care and support to individuals and families affected by life-limiting illnesses. Along, with the Shamrocks player welfare fund, which helps toward the cost of injuries suffered by players representing the club on the playing field. Over the past 13 years, the event has grown in popularity, attracting runners from all over the country and beyond.

This year’s event, which will take place on Saturday, April 8th, promises to be another great success. Participants will take on a challenging 10k course that winds through the beautiful countryside around Kilmovee, offering stunning views and a real sense of achievement for all those who cross the finish line, and not forgetting our legendary post-race hospitality. The event is open to participants of all abilities, from seasoned athletes to beginners, to joggers and walkers, young and the not-so-young.
